Repel Sportsman Max 40% Deet.About $3.50+ - at Wal Mart.Best stuff I've found.There is some gel out there at 99% Deet but its expensive and not practical for applying around ankles,waste area (chigger territory).

I keep 3 cans of the 40% in truck during summer for working on stands,shooting,checking cameras,fishing at night etc..The stuff will kill a horse.

I use it to keep the chiggers and horse flys off as much as skeeters.
I found you gotta spray yourself about every hour or more if your sweatin alot - at least to keep chiggers off..Anybody had a bad case of chiggers[:@] knows exactly where I'm comin from.
