Well guys it is 6:30 Thursday morning. I am sitting at my desk thinking about nothing but Saturday morning. I went for a drive last evening to check on one of my properties which is on a dead end road. There is more traffic then you think for a dead end road. There were amess ofdeer in the food plot out in the corner of the field. A few does, a few small bucks and one pretty respectable 9 point. Maybe 120 to 130. He is rubbed off, where as the smaller bucks weren't. I know there are some real nice bucks out there just haven't seen them lately. I was out there pretty early so who knows what else would have came out. A nearby farmer tells me there is a real dandy out there. When he holds his hand up to show me the spread it gets bigger every time. This deer has to be like 30" spread according to him. I think he may have a bit to much time logged in on the old John Deere. He likes his Jack Daniels. I will have to edit this if he is right though. So I am still just sitting here waiting. Oh ya I almost forgot I got my earn a buck tag in the mail yesterday. I shot a doe last year so that means I don't have to wait this year. Of course I really need to take some doe out of there but if I see that 30" spread of a buck he is mine. Any way have a good day guys. I here my name being page out in the plant.
