GeoffM24 - I whole heartedly agree with what you've written - and that's what I've posted. This has happened on at least 3 of 4 quartering shots on me. I never looked over the 4th carcass well because the deer was dead - don't know if it slid on that one or not.

Also - Your buddies opinion probably isn't that far off either - my point is I BELIEVE with these heads that angle that is TOO steep is greatly reduced due to the angle of the blade - I.E. you have to re-learn what is 'too steep'.
