Hello Everyone!

I just purchased a new Benelli Nova shotgun. When I load it, the carrier stays pushed in...it will not come back down unless I manually pull it down. A friend says he believes all new Benellis do this, and that over time it will losen up and begin to pop back down.

Is he correct, or do I have something wrong with my gun?
