I just went out and bought a 300 WSM friday havent had a chance to shoot it but im 15 and the ballistics on the rifle with a 150 grain bullet are impressive drop 8.8 inches @ 300 yards when zeroed in at 100 and.....The WSM is just like a regular magnum only not belted and will do fine for all big game animals in North America and Africa with the right bullets from wenchester right now im shooting 180 grains well goin to shoot but for elk and moose this gun is perfect just make sure ur shot is good.
