Default RE: Warning

good tip...

rob you aint never been lucky enuff to come across a timber rattler?? or a pi$$ed off copper head? sure they aint deadly....but i still dont want bit by one when im in the deep woods alone. one late summer/early fall i was DEEP in the woods walking a logging road just walking around on a nice sunday at camp. theres a little "island" of trees in the logging road and i spot a snake. i usually like snakes and reptiles and anything i can play with..exspecially then when i was 14 or so. stupid me i ID it as a black snake and run up to it and corner it and get ready to put a forked stick over its neck so i can grab it. when i went to do that the sucker struck about a couple foot. i was like mannn your a fiesty little black snake huh? (yes i talked to him lol) went to try again...he was already coiled up by then and snapped again. whoaaaa then i noticed the tail! holy chit! hes rattling!! RUN!!!!! lol i ran my arse back to camp in a HURRY. i was close to 2 miles from camp and noone had any ideas of my where about except i was in the woods somewhere! sure they might n ot be DEADLY....but 2 miles from camp...i dont wanna get bit! lol. i wont buy snake boots for around here but im a little more cautious around here....got a similar story from when i was a kid riding bikes to the creek and swimming. about 3 miles from home and i chased down a copperhead and lightly put my football spikes on it to hold it down...put a ton of holes in the shoes and i realized what it was lol......
