Rob and Greg are right ,I've never had to sand down or remove metal, a simple little adjustment on thedial of either the top or bottom should get you right where you want to be .I had a bit of a problem getting my vane's in correct alignment on my Axis shaft's ,but making a small adjustment on the bottom dial corrected the problem.
