I hung 3 stands this weekend on the farm I hunt in IL. I normally use a climber but I hung 1 stand to use as there are no good climbing trees in the area. the other 2 are just to reserve my area from 2 other guys that hunt the woods also. I hung them on the outside of the area I want to hunt to let them know I am there. We kinda have our areas of the woods we hunt, but last year I had some stands in my area. So this year I am staking my claim early. MO season starts next Friday. IL starts Oct. 1.
