You a Toledo boy Kodiak? Had no idea. Might check into your charter service next year. Got any deals going till the end of this year. Grew up right next to U of T. Made it out to the country about 30 years ago and still I wonder how I got here.

You do guarantee we'll catch our limit in perch and walleye or won't have to pay, won't you?
Ya, I'm from Toledo. I actually gave up fishing, we had a boat growing up and I spent many many summers out there harvesting walleye and now I just can't do it any more. Actually I'm not a big fan of power boats anymore, I've been out on the lake when its at its worst and I don't want to do any more unless I have 4,000 pounds of lead below me make sure we stay upright (ie: I only sail on the lake these days.) There is a slight chance that I would go out for perch, I have a couple buddies with boats, but I just go to drink beer.

I've heard that the fishing is really getting hot again, but a lot of people aren't going out because the gas is over $3.50 at the dock. I can't really comment on the charters, I've never been on one, but I know they have head boats in Port Clinton that are pretty cheap, like $25.00 a day. If you have the money I guess a private charter would be better though.

Where did you move out to?
