RE: Making progress... My bow fits me now!!!
sounds good. make sure your shooting the same arrows! cant shoot diffrent brands/models/legnths etc and expect them to be consistant! dont know if your shooting the diffrent ones or not. since you got your draw figured out figure out if the spine will be alright if you trim your new arrows to proper size. no sense in shooting 3 or 4 inches long if you dont have to right?? thats wierd any shop let you walk out without having them cut?
about your groups...youll get there....sounds like your new to archery..or this was a new bow..takes practice and consistancy. i still dont see how in the heck a LEVEL on your sites will help..i dont see why you cant have it not level...but it makes a BIG diffrence. grip does also. all my hand is there to do is kinda push forward. my bow will slightly jump after the shot, but even without a wrist sling its not bad. it can take some getting used to to get pins to settle at full draw too. the first couple days i was real shakey because i wasnt used to holding a bow back. now they settle quick and easy. i went from 3-4 inch groups at 15yds when i first started shooting about a month ago to slamming shafts at 35yds. practiced my butt off..and if there isnt a strong wind and the shot is clear i wont hesitate a 35yd shot on a deer now. i didnt think my range would be that far this season. consistancy is key. work on your form/anchor/grip/release etc. itll all fall in place and youll feel comfortable shooting and be more consitant. keep at it and good luck!
