i like a good ole big chunk of lead myself. but i like the 35rem better. even though the 45-70 has a better selections of bullets and grain sizes. but the 200grain 35rem is a potent littel round and is great out to 150yds. very littel recoil, and puts down deer and black bear hard. have seen it done tons of times up in maine.
if i did not get my 450marlin. i would of went for the 35rem.
