Thanks for the replies. Yes I am a huge nospart fan. I almost refuse to shoot a ballistic tip bullet at any game animal. Bullet breaks up to much and if you hit a bone you can forget it. Actually all I shoot out of my .270are the rem core locks. I've lost one deer in the 18 years I've been hunting with them, and that was me taking a dumb shot..of course it was a big buck...you can see I'm still kicking myself 6yrs later. I'm probably going to try the federal nos 150gr and the win xp elite 150gr and see how the match up.
