I hunted a farm near Long Neck fri am and in the evening...didnt see any.
Sat. my son and i hunted Nanticoke in the am till 11 and he saw two does but no shot.
We went back to nanticoke at 1230pm and set up in a different area. At 430 I hear a shot, then he comes on the two way radio " I just shot a deer". Boy was he excited. I asked him if it was a buck or doe, he says A BUCK a BIG BUCK. I get over to it and its a BIG Doe . His excitement took over . It dressed out at 107Lb.
AWESOME!!!!!I am very proud of him, sticking it out in the rain and other elements mother nature threw at us.
See, him and i just started hunting last year. Neither one of us has killed a deer. I used to hunt when I was a kid, but stopped after a friend of mine passed away in 95. I never really hunted deer till last year. My birthday was friday.......what a present. :-))))
