Ok guys lets get this strait. There is bison hunting and bison shooting. Most “bison hunts” are shooting. But in Alberta Canada there is a herd of free ranging woodland bison (almost pure strain) they have never been extirpated or reintroduced. They have always been here and always will be. There are paths carved through the old growth woods from hundreds of years of use. Now as for being easy to hunt, No! We hunt for there tracks by snowmobile, often traveling 100km/day. Once a track is found then off through the wood tracking we go. But this can be a task with 3 feet of snow.
