Are todays' bows more susceptible to heat damage if left in a truck all day long? I believe older bows were more prone to damage but has this changed with the new technology?

My bow is not exposed to heat unless I am outside shooting it. It would be more convenient to leave in my truck while working and head straight to the range but I don't want to take the risk. I'm not allowed to take it in the office either.[:'(]
