If the Medallion is bedded at the front recoil pad which I am not sure of with the gun sitting in a bench of some sort carefully pry the reciever out evenly and not at an angle. Better bet is to call Browning on their 800 number and ask for advice on this matter. I don't have a problem taking apart by Abolt with the exception they put in powdered graphite all over the action for weather protection. Clean the channel with a slightly damp cloth followed by a dry cloth. Let the stock and reciever sit apart for a couple of hours and then put it back together. During the wait I like to put Tetra gun on the barrelled action and rub it in and let it sit.
