The 150 grain bullet in the 270 would not be the same as the 30-06. That is because the 150 grain in the 270 has a higher sectional density than the same weoght bullet in a larger diameter.
This isexactly what I used on 4 different Elk....
.270 150gr NP. They all ran 15 to 25 feet and dropped.
