I'm similiar to gibblet, I don't like a Stans, or a "true" bt release. I've said it before and without sounding redundant, ALL releases should be shot with back tension, especially target shooting.

I use a Carter Hole in the Thing and active the pinky trigger. I then use back tension to trigger it. It's versital from thumb to pinky. It's similiar to this new version seen here at Carter's website: http://www.carterenterprises.com/products/hd2000.htm
