I would pick the 243......the 270 is just an '06 wannabe, the 7mm-08 is a step down but the 243 is a 6mm that is simply a devastating little Varmit rifle with the right bullet.....then you don't have to expend spensive bullets to kill critters....and in a pinch, the 95gr Nosler knocks deer in the dirt.
