Default RE: .270 accuracy

Original Poster did not specify what 270 mag but there is so little difference what is the big deal?

People are buying Bts of all shapes and sizes with the mistaken belief that if they don't use them the bullet will fall 100 yard short of whatever target they are shooting at. This is a result of people with little or no hunting experience heeding the advice of these so-called gunwriters who are in bed with every bullet manufacturer. They liken the BC of a flatbase bullet to that of a 4x8 piece of plywood. Bt's can be good hunting bullets and a lot are but they are better target and extreme long range target bullets. I could care less about 2-4" drop difference at 400 yards I want the bullet to perform when it gets there. Read Nosler manual # 4 and read the Pro's and Cons of BT's ...remember these are the same people that make these bullets and have tested them on game...they should know on what it works and doesn't work.
