My personal opinion is you are just killing next year's bucks by shooting button bucks. Most places the doe to buck ratio is so out of line that shooting button bucks only adds to the problem. If you just want to kill a deer you are much better off shooting a mature doe or any doe for that matter. Let the button's walk after all the mature bucks that we dream of once were buttons!!!
