Once you chew up any layered target and start getting pass thru's just put a couple ratchet straps around the thing an tighten it down,you'll double the life of the target! Dicks has cheap $30 layered targets, that I've done this to. It works great! BTW If your broadhead sticks out the back don't just pull it thru, that screws up the target really fast,unscrew the BH and just remove the shaft.
