RE: Old Remington semi-auto shotgun?????????
I agree it does sound like a Model 11 Remington. There were a couple different models. Model 11,Model 11A and Model 11R. The 11R was a riot gun.The model 11A was a standard grade . They were made from 1905-49. The model 11 was a Special Tournament,Expert and Premiier grade guns.If it was my shotgun before firing it,I would have it throughly checked by a competent gunsmith. The few dollars spent could save you allot of pain if something is wrong with it.As old as it is there could be a undetected small crack in the receiver or barrel. That's just my opinion.. Ruger Redhawk
