The draw stop should bottom out--but are you comfortablewhen this happens? I'm thinking, you're saying that the cams seem to whip back in a hurry,'could' mean you not all the way drawn and could do with a little more draw length--try shifting the draw stop anti-clockwise a little, draw your bow and see how it feels.
You don't want to over extend and punish yourself with a string whip.
