My father has used a ParkerHale 270 with 130gr bullets for over 30 years. Most of his hunting is in northern BC where he usually hunts those huge moose. He says he has never had a problem with that combination in all that time, usually making ons shot kills on the moose. So don`t worry about those 130grs not doing the job on northern deer.
