Propmahn - Ah, what a perfect caliber, the .257 Roberts. I saw a pre-1964 Winchester Mod. 70 the other day, for sale online. They wanted a fortune for it, of course. Light kicking, flat-shooting - great for whitetails...Jack O'Conner had it right.
