Listen, its like this 243,223,222 will work and to each his own.
I have several different rifles and my boys are different. Matthew (15)likes his 308 bolt. I pack him w/150gr soft point and send him on his merry way.

I press my own ammo so I can adjust for what ever.
Shot placement is the key,period. The heart shot (kill zone) is my choice and the areas I point out for my kids heart or lung.
