Sounds like a problem for sure, but even if you could circle downwind or enter from the other side of the woods wouldn't you be on the wrong side of the deer and the way they travel (towards the field)... Only thing you can do I think, is to find somewhere else to hunt 90% of the time and hunt when the wind is right...

I agree there could be more you could do in terms of scent control, but I would never hunt a stand with dead wrong wind... Just not a wise decision IMO...
