My drop away hasn't ever made any noise and the adhesive felt that covers the prong and the containment bar have never shown any signs of peeling or movement. I've tested it with an arrow locked into position by vigorously shaking the bow and rarely does the arrow move because of how pitched the prong is but when it does come out of there it only makes very quite ding sounds. This is with me shaking the $hit out of it.
