I perfer the #11 caps for shooting. Since I shoot only loose powder, the #11 caps have never let me down. Also the fowling is not as bad. Overall it sounds like you have some good impressions of the rifle. How do you like the balance of that rifle? I still can not believe how nice that rifle pulls up to the shoulder and sights in...

Keep us posted. I will be interested to see your first outing with the rifle.. I shoot 70 grains, 2 1/16th thick fiber wads, and a 500 grain NEI BullShop. The accuracy is outstanding and the down range power makes you smile. Also the .503 No Excuse shoot real well out of my rifle, but are a little loose in fit..
