Yup. I can comment on those strikers. I have had the pleasure of trying them out.
I had mentioned to Adrian about how sweet it sounded on the clucks and purrs. Like he mentioned I find a good striker is one which you can run a cutt and flydown cackle on. This is a tougher call to make with a pot call and if you have to "work" the striker across the surface to get the crisp sound it usually means this type of call doesn't work so well. The fast precise movement requires a good striker on the surface.
This one does work excellent BT. Man I was getting nice cackles with it. I originally said I like it on good old slate but I think this striker with my crystal is a winner.
I've just played with it but I'm going to use some of the other woods and see what it compares to. Need to get a few more strikers since I lost my usual amount this past season
