I was going through my grandpas gun house this weekend and came across this recurve. He said he has had it nearly 40 years and has only hunted with it a handful of times. I have no idea how good of a bow it is or how it shoots. It is in good condition and the limbs look straight.
Maybe you all can tell me a little more about it: It is a Coronado by Howatt Archery, HOA 3601.60", 49 lbs @ 28".
Like I said before, it is good shape, has been shot very little, andhas been stored indoors. It may not be worth much, but I think I am going to get another string from Chad and try it out. It is a little heavier bow than the Bear I have been shooting.

Howatt makes good bows. Not sure how they did 40 years ago. I recently came across a 39year old colt woodsman my mother in law used to shoot. I was worried it might have dry rotted, but seems in great shape.
