Out of curiosity isyour problem more with the ( as you claim ) gut shot or more with the size of the deer ?

Rather, deer hunters seek out the bucks that have the largest rack.
I kinda like the idea of seeinga bit of harvest diversitybeing shown on a TV hunting show other than the usual 12 point RACK being taken.

In the eyes of some ( evident by a few of the posts here ) Ted Nugent may not be the most desirable person to represent hunting. To that I will simply say that you are welcome to step forward and become that voice. A bit of advice though. I doubt that Ted Nugent is going to change hisdelivery or become "mute" on hunting anytime soon, thusany of you prospective spokespersonsout there might be better off concentrating your efforts onother things suchas promoting and protecting hunting rather than wasting it on NUGE bashing.
