I do get the feeling that I'm not welcome to ask about management principals. Also, there seems to be an implication that if it's legal then we should have no concern over the practice, and have no right to debate it.

I don't know what you're talking about. I never said a single negative thing about her dad taking the button. My whole reason for posting on this thread was to question the deer management philosophy of shooting buttons. Also, this has nothing to do with QDM, just deer management. Maybe you're confusing me with someone else. Go back and read mine and then tell me where I chastised her.
