Of the four or five sights I've got on my bows, I'll have to be honest and say that the Matrix is my least favorite of the bunch. I'm not crazy about having a good bit of the sight made out of plastic for one thing, but mostly it's because I don't like the sight picture for anything beyond my top pin. When I shoot the 30 and 40-yard pins, the top pin(s) just cover too much of my target. The brightness issue comes up for me as well.

I'm not sure you can compare my Spot Hogg, as it's obviously not an apples-to-apples comparison in price and features. But -- for less money, you can buy the Extreme RT 900 and get a lot better sight, in my opinion, with MUCH brighter pins.
