are there any active scrapes by where you hunt? are you baiting? are there any signs that deer are feeding in the harvested fields.

the hawgs products are excellent, by far the best available on the market at this time. i use the pre rut, fore head gland, and the bf rut also.

here would be my plan to attract mr. big boy. if you are allowed to feed deer place a pile in the field at a comfortable shooting distance for you. this, hopefully will attract does, inturn the bucks will follow. here in mid michigan the rut is in full swing so placing urine in the scrapes probably will not be productive.

if you see does feeding in the fields then carefully place the urine in the fields in your shooting lanes. if you are in the rut now the bucks are already breeding. you will have to watch to see when the bucks start looking for a new doe to breed. then they will pick up on your scent trails.

remember that if you are placing wicks on other peoples property you are trespassing and would be considered a pocher. thats not cool. the key to bow hunting is "patients". just hang in there, they will come.

remember that when you use scent, make sure you have on latex gloves. human scents will eliminate any action at all on your scent trail.
