I've heard a time or two that deer don't mix with cows. Now one of my farmers is fencing in some prime deer turf in order to rotate his cattle through a hayfield where I've had a lot of success over the years. The fence isn't going to impede the deer, but I'm wondering if there's anything to the deer/cattle (oil/water?) story.
