ok i was just wondering cause there HAS to be at least a couple states ( i know texas has to be one of them) but you can shoot whats on your property (non human) with no questions asked....
In texas if you're threatened you have the right to shoot anything, including humans... I'm sure there will be questions asked, but that's another matter...
However, I know in Texas there can be legal and civil repercussions if you shoot your neighbors dog wether it's on your property or not. Like the one guy mentioned, get the police involved, get the dog on public record and
THEN keep a rifle handy for the next time he wanders over and "attacks" you.
Oh, and for the record, it really bothers me that an "ethical sportsman" suggested glass hamburger and anti-freeze... Antifreeze can take a week or more for the animal to die(I know this first hand), glass in the hamburger probably just as long. What makes a deer any more deserving of a quick death than a dog, regardless of the dog's actions?
