I must be crazy because that dog would have never made it off my property!! Somone posted earlier that it is felony to shoot a dog but i'm pretty sure you could choke the life out of one fairly quickly and use the old faithful "He was coming right at me!" defense. You definitely still need to contact a lawyer in reference to reimbursement on the medical bills. You stated that you have a little brother and if there are other kids in that neighborhood someone needs to protect them before the next incident. Call Don Lito and get that dog whacked!!
