Default RE: Hog Hunting/Trapping and deer hunting

don't really know of any sites that tell anything about it. all I can say is that I have several deer stands and hog traps in the same area, some as close as 20 yards apart. have takem many, many good bucks with the bow within 20 yards of the traps.we run our traps almost year round, on for a few mo's. and then stop for a few.

if the hogs move in heavy, the deer move out.the deer do not like the hogs around.thats why I run my traps all year. to try to keep the hogs thinned out.the way hogs breed, they will have two litters a year, and 6 to 10 per litter.if you have 4 or 5 good sows around, you can see how many you will have at the end of the year.

just the way I do it on my hunt property.
