It is a darn shame of the loss of money, but take it as an expensive learning lesson. You were in the right, but I am not sure there is anything more you can do. This is another reason why I do not like hunting clubs. If you argue with a guy and loose, chances are, he is in tight with the top brass running the club. It doesn't matter, you will loose every time.
