I didn't say you couldn't kill deer, just that you might not be assured of a pass through as you stated. When I see something that is not as stated or counted on I have a tendancy to say so, like the fact you had over estimated your KE by a dozen foot pounds. I thought you should know. But, I have no problem saying have fun and hunt on. You can kill deer no doubt. Bad angles, a couple ribs, a little shoulder blade and things change. I love over kill.
