Best 270 load on the planet fer elk. Wanna know it? Maybeso it'll help yer friend an' others what wanna use a 270 an' not be hampered. Here it is (I ain't gonna give the powder charge 'cause everbody needs to piddle with thet a lil):

1. Nosler 160 grain Partition
2. A healthy charge of Reloader 19
3. A standard of magnum primer, depending on which shoots best in yer rifle. Short barrels should try a magnum primer fer sure.

Ain't nuthin' more to it. The above recipe will shoot as good or better than anythin' else you currently shoot, an' it will do a fine job on wapiti.
