I agree with David. I'm a small guy, but I can get my bowtech mighty might up to around 280 fps if I crank it up to 60 lbs and shoot lighter arrows. However I like shooting it at around 54-55 lbs and I use 400-450 grn arrows. I shoot around 215 fps or so. The deer or the targets don't seem to notice.

I don't shoot 3-D though, and I know my distances when I hunt.
