I think I may have messed up!

Hollow Point, Paul has made some extremely good posts on this thread... it's the reason I like this place so much!
As far as your last question, yes the minis can and will help, but you can minimize accessory noise at the start by just ensuring that every single screw is tightened down and not loose.

Thanks Guys. For now I think I'll stick with The Sims Ultra limb savers, the super string leeches and maybe even the mini limb savers on my sight, rest and quiver and see what difference it makes.

Just for grins here's my 04 Patriot with an STS installed.
I'm not an STS salesman, but chose to go this route because:
A- I bought it
B- It is quiet with it
C- I get more of my effective brace height with it (not really a concern though @7")
D- I don't have to fool with or replace string silencers
E- By removing the string stuff I picked up some of the speed I lost whenI replaced the stock TS-1 string with 452x.
String silencers work to, the choice is yours and neither decision is wrong IMHO.

I don't know a lot of technical bow gizmo talk, but it sounds like the guy felt like he had to tell you some problem your bow has to fill his jobrequirements as an 'expert'and couldn't just say, "you have a damn fine bow there, you don't need our services for the next ten years"

I might as well share my OPINION as regarding old school cat whiskers... On my PSE Triton that I used to shoot I had string leaches that eventually started to shred.. After noticing a difference in sound I decided to pull out what was left and then tie on some cat whiskers.. My bow might have quieted down a little, but the bow was definatly quieter with the string leaches as aposed to the whiskers.. For me, whiskers get a thumbs down... STS gets a thumbs up... Like DaveC, I am definatly not an STS salesman, but im not ashamed or shyto promote a product that actually works for me..

I agree with David. I'm a small guy, but I can get my bowtech mighty might up to around 280 fps if I crank it up to 60 lbs and shoot lighter arrows. However I like shooting it at around 54-55 lbs and I use 400-450 grn arrows. I shoot around 215 fps or so. The deer or the targets don't seem to notice
.
I don't shoot 3-D though, and I know my distances when I hunt.
