I think I know where you mean. That gas well isn't that far from the Mud Run Rd. (into Parker Dam)/ Tyler Rd. Intersection, and before you get to Blackwell Rd. Did that trail used to have a cable or something across it's beginning, and maybe a small sign of some sort on it at one time? It's gone now, if that's th place I'm thinking of. I've not been up there personally, but one of my buddies has, and he said it looked promising, although I'm not sure if he ever went back. That's another area that gets hit pretty hard in Bear season.
