Just for grins here's my 04 Patriot with an STS installed.




I'm not an STS salesman, but chose to go this route because:
A- I bought it
B- It is quiet with it
C- I get more of my effective brace height with it (not really a concern though @7")
D- I don't have to fool with or replace string silencers
E- By removing the string stuff I picked up some of the speed I lost whenI replaced the stock TS-1 string with 452x.

String silencers work to, the choice is yours and neither decision is wrong IMHO.
