If I were you, and had my mind set on a BPI product....I go for the New and Improved
Optima Elite in Stainless Steel. This gun promises to be made
much stronger than in days past. And you can add centerfire and shotgun barrels to as you go. In fact BPI might just be back on my shopping list if these new Optimas prove sturdy.
Second on the list would be the
Latest Stainless Steel Kodiak Pro.
I've shot and hunted with both before and can tell you they are both tack drivers with no more than 100 grains of any blackpowder..
Except Trip7, which just
