Fred bear archery used something simular on their bows for a while but I don't see them on the newer ones. If you go their website is shows a bow with one on it on the front page, but when you look at the individual bows none of them have it. Just limb savers and string leaches.
I personally think the PSE NV system works better for reducing noise and hand shock in the bow, it doesn't touch the strings though so you would still need string silencers as well.
I have seen the STS and other products like it on bows but have not tried it yet myself. I am leary of having my string smack something every time I shoot. I was very dissapointed when mathews went to the dampening system they use. Especially since it isn't very quiet to begin with and it looks dorky. I have a 300 dollar darton with 3 dollar string silencers and limb savers on it and it is quieter than any of these string dampener devices.
Just my opinion though.
