Fine @ 2yrds. and bad at 3 and 20'. If it's leaving the bow straight and it sounds like it is then it's not the bow. Did you happen to try a different arrow? After trying a different one stick a big fixed blade broad head on the shaft and shoot it. You'll see what it needs then. You didn't say what plastic vanes they were. I've shot 4 different ones and one feather recently on the same kind of shafts. One is noticably better than the others using GT75/95 XT's @ 68# going around 290.
Good point Quicksilver. Those noisie bows of yesteryear were a lot slower as well, still if we wanted to hear a bang when we hunt we'd use a gun and a quiet bow gives a better chance @ getting a second shot. I don't care for a loud bow myself no matter how fast. Now if they made one that could use one pin out to a hundred yrds. ...
